Job Description/Requirements:


TSM Engineer responsible for implementing technical solutions based on technical architecture designs to include configuration of baclients, TDP for Oracle and Exchange, upgrading TSM clients and servers, assist with implementing new hardware designs.
Needed to support day to day operations of a TSM environment to include tape library management, TSM server/client management, support backup and restore issues, respond to on-call pages, monitor TSM server health.
Netbackup experience is a plus.


Job 2:

Duration: 6 Months
Temp to perm position

Systems Administrator

Description:Work under the supervision of current TSM admin and the StorageManager. Assist in providing technical support for TSM server and clientsystems. Document the environment as requested. Provide analysis for improvements of the current environment. Assist in projects and evaluations of TSM related products.

Tasking:
Backup/Restore Operations;
File Systems/Volume Mgt.;
Best Practice Knowledge Transfer

Skills - Required:
SAN-CDL (Virtual Tape);
SAN-FC Tape (ADIC or others);
BURA-Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
